Open since 1983 (the same year Tokyo Disneyland debuted), Kōhītei is a well-regarded Ikebukuro fixture. Expertly prepared by certified Coffee Instructors (Level 2+), the resulting coffee offers rich, complex layers and a distinctive smoky aroma.

The signature “Ambre de Reine” (Amber Queen) is a must-order for many regulars. This layered concoction combines concentrated coffee syrup (from select beans) with light fresh cream. It’s sweet but perfectly balanced, allowing the coffee’s pleasant bitterness and aroma to mingle beautifully with the cream’s smoothness.
